In our society, we are not often taught how to move through grief in a way that is helpful.

Instead, we’re taught to ignore it. To move on. To get over it. To keep busy. To numb it. Etc.

This is a problem because grief doesn’t just go away. When we lose someone we love, grief becomes a part of us. In my opinion, it is a beautiful part of us that makes up our wholeness. A part of us just as important as our joy. A part of us that deserves to be acknowledged and honored.

In this quick practice, we'll focus on acknowledging grief in our physical body so that it has room to move through us in a way that is helpful...

So that we can begin to feel more space and openness instead of pain and tension.
